A timeless kitchen located in Melbourne’s East, homeowner Caitlin tells us how Haven helped her achieve her dream kitchen in one week.

In a stunning new kitchen renovation, homeowner Caitlin wanted her dream kitchen to be open plan, complete with a butler’s pantry, double oven, and above all else, a consistent theme and design direction. Specifying Haven Kitchen’s Daylesford cabinetry in Cloud Grey, Caitlin’s kitchen is a contemporary oasis in a sea of graceful greys. Vertically applied tiles provide consistency and whimsy, elevating the kitchen to bespoke levels as they hug the curves of the range hood, splashbacks, island plinth and butlers’ pantry.
“Other cabinet makers had given me 8-10 weeks lead time and no guarantees that it would be finished before Christmas. Using Haven Kitchens’ in-stock model I was able to pick up the kitchen the same week it was ordered,” says Caitlin of her experience.
As a member of the BuildHer Collective, an initiative established to help women build the home of their dreams or develop properties for profit, Caitlin drew inspiration from a mixture of kitchens she had seen from her fellow members and quickly developed a very clear vision of her ideal kitchen.
